| Identification: | A short, broad stalk attaching it to the substrate, with most of the tunic being tough, brown, bumpy, wrinkly. There are two short siphons with alternate red and tan bands. |
| Impact | Form dense populations. Can cause serious damage to shellfish farm and ship's hull. Can reduce boat speed and biodiversity by growing over other sessile organisms. |
